This 1983 from Arlaud has all the tannic toughness of the vintage but also shows the apparent house style, in that it is rather fat, alcoholic, jammy, and richly fruity. There is quite a lot of Pinot Noir flavor and a pleasing lushness. No doubt it should be drunk by 1992.
