The 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape La Ferme du Mont is all of the 2006 plus has more structure, more density, and a bit more meat and richness to it, making it just slightly more complete and potentially longer lived ...10-12 years. We can thank Coralie Goumarre, the winegrower and the winemaker of this estate, for these lovely wines, which I think include a couple of cuvees that may be negociant blends, but I wasn’t able to verify that prior to writing this report. Whatever the case may be, these are serious Chateauneuf du Papes. No known American importer.
