Seresin's cashew-scented 2019 Chardonnay features darker hints of scorched coffee and struck match on the nose, then settles down on the palate into a generous, medium-bodied offering with a silky mouthfeel and flavors that suggest white peach, Asian pear, honey and ripe citrus. It's a gorgeous wine for casual sipping, but it could also partner well with fish or poultry dishes.

Mainly from the estate Raupo vineyard, the 2017 Chardonnay features aromas of wood smoke, melon and pineapple. Medium to full-bodied, it's plump and mouthwatering, juicy, tropical, honeyed and even succulent on the finish. It's a blend of three clones (Mendoza, 95 and 15), all barrel-fermented and put through full malolactic.

The medium to full-bodied 2016 Chardonnay is an impressive effort, combining bold roasted-nut aromas with scents of pear and lemon to achieve a delicate balance in a full-flavored wine. Hints of baking spices show up on the long, citrusy finish.

The 2015 Chardonnay offers a beautifully scented nose of jasmine, acacia honey and apricots, plus notes of crushed cashews, buttered toast and spiced apple slices. Medium-bodied, rich and generously fruited in the mouth, it has layers of savory toast, honey/spice and stone fruit flavors, finishing with a refreshing lift.

The 2014 Chardonnay has aromas of spiced apples, ripe pears and beeswax with a bread dough and ginger laced undercurrent. Light to medium-bodied, it has a pleasantly savory, uncomplicated palate with nice texture and balance.
