The 2002 Museum Crianza was too light and lean to recommend. The 2001 Museum Real Reserva is 100% Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) from 50- to 60-year-old vines and was aged 24 months in new French oak before being bottled unfiltered. Dark ruby-colored, the wine offers aromas of toast, earth, cinnamon, and red currant. The wine is medium to full-bodied with a solid core of red fruit flavors, light tannin and medium length. It is a bit too one-dimensional to merit a higher score.
