Fashioned from vines located in a little-known premier cru located just north of Combe aux Moines and above Champeaux, the 2003 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots offers penetrating black raspberry aromatics. Medium-bodied, fleshy, and suave, this deep effort is rich, silky-textured, and persistent. It offers blackberry and cassis flavors in a fruit-forward, friendly format. Drink it between 2006 and 2013.
