The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots presents the wilder, unrestrained side of Gevrey. There is plenty of intensity and length here, but also some slightly more rustic qualities that detract from the wine’s overall balance. Candied, floral notes add a measure of complexity on the finish. This parcel has been farmed organically since 1998. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022.
