The 2011 Sinfo Roble comes from three vineyards in Mucientes, the average of vines 60 years old (and for just a Roble!!). It has an attractive bouquet of dark plum, date and black cherries that has a citric freshness. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins. It is an uncomplicated Roble, as one would expect, but it offers plenty of sappy black cherry and raspberry fruit with decent structure on the finish. Drink now-2014.
