The 2003 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers (white), the first Domaine Niellon wine bearing this label since the 1998 (the vineyard was grubbed up late in 1998, left fallow, then subsequently replanted), displays aromas of white peaches and pit fruits. On the palate it is light to medium-bodied, satin-textured, fresh, and dominated by minerals. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
