The 2003 Camparron Crianza was aged for 6 months in American oak. It elevates the spice component a bit and there is plenty of black cherry and blackberry flavor in this supple-textured effort. It also delivers good ripeness and balance. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. It is an excellent value.
