Domaine Giraud is one of many Chateauneuf du Pape estates that has been producing better and better wines over the last decade. The medium to full-bodied 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Les Gallimardes is impressive. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by loads of sweet cherry jam intertwined with balsam wood, resin, pepper, spice box, and earth-like characteristics.
