The 2011 Sensibility is pretty and elegant, with savory spice, underbrush and raspberry-styled aromas and flavors flowing to a medium to full-bodied, lively palate. The 2011 Sensibility Grenache from the Paderewski vineyard is blended with 5% Syrah and was harvested on October 20th. It was fermented in concrete and aged 16 months in neutral puncheons. Medium ruby, it features bright red berry fruit, with notes of orange peel, forest floor and laurel leaves. The palate is bright, spicy and silky, with an ethereal, spicy finish. It will hold for a few more years in bottle. 100 cases were made.

A rich, potent wine that combines power with finesse, featuring juicy wild berry, raspberry, spice and black licorice notes complemented by hints of fresh earth and dried herb.
