The serious 1997 Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers (about 30% of this cuvee was aged in barrique and the remainder in tank) exhibits a mineral-dominated, herb-tinged cassis character, spicy, medium-bodied flavors, and an excellent finish with good ripeness, glycerin, and length.
