Foradori's vino da tavola, the 1996 Granato, offers an opaque purple color, palate saturating extract levels, and a powerful, rich, ripe, jammy finish. The wine is massive and impressive, but youthful and unevolved. Flavors of cherry liqueur, kirsch, blackberries, and new oak dominate the wine at present.
