The 2008 Norte is leaner and earthier on the nose compared to the 2006 and 2007, with smoke and wild hedgerow scents. But it also displays greater focus that previous vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is very elegant in the mouth with a graceful, pure, minerally finish that shows great persistency. Excellent. Drink now-2020.
