Revealing milk chocolate and mocha on the nose, the Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers is a thick, chewy, medium-to-full bodied, oily-textured, dark cherry and porcini-packed wine. Delicious now, it can be enjoyed over the next 7+ years. This wine is neither fined nor filtered. The rating and note is for the special North Berkeley cuvee, I did not taste the regular commercial bottling. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
