The custom cuvee produced for the importer (named after his son), the 2003 Leva Daniel, is a blend of 30% Tempranillo and nearly equal parts Mourvedre, Syrah, and Merlot. Deep and layered, with additional concentration as well as nuances, this seamless effort displays a harmonious integration of wood, tannin, acidity, and alcohol. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
