The 2003 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuees reveals a nose of fresh earth, red cherries, and blackberries. A supple, sensual wine in the attack as well as mid-palate, it displays satiny black cherries, spices, and hints of oak in its expressive flavor profile. Its firm, almost rustic finish exhibits some of the bitterness found in a few of Barthod’s 2003s as well as a slight note of alcoholic warmth. Drink it between 2007 and 2013.
