Triennes is a collaboration of two Burgundian masters—Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (Domaine de la Romanee-Conti)—who together purchased a run-down estate in the south of France back in 1990. The wines have steadily improved, yet the prices remain reasonable. This 100% tank-fermented Viognier shows impressive richness and texture allied to flavors of ripe apricots and peaches, plus a dash of Viognier’s trademark floral aromas.
