Coming from Rosella's, Sierra Mar, Pisoni, Soberanes and Garys' Vineyards, the 2011 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands is a pretty, supple effort the yields plenty of black cherry fruit, pepper, dried flowers and underbrush aromas as well as a medium-bodied, silky and finely textured palate. Silky, elegant and beautifully pure, it's a delicious effort that should be consumed over the coming 3-4 years. Drink now-2017.
Run by proprietors Adam and Dianna Lee, this estate produces a bevy of high quality efforts from all over California. While known for making wines with immediate appeal, his 2011s might just surprise some people with the solid structure and longevity. They're beautiful, elegant efforts that make the most of the cool vintage
