The 2009 Pinot Noir Kanzler Vineyard is layered with sweet dark red cherries, flowers, licorice and spices. It shows lovely depth and roundness. The fruit takes on darker shades of expression on the mid-palate, turning quite serious and brooding on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016. I have been a big fan of the Landmark wines since visiting the winery nearly a decade ago. The Chardonnays in particular remain some of the most fairly priced Chardonnays in California. Tel.
