Pine Ridge's 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain needs at least 5-6 years of cellaring. It possesses a saturated purple color, and a Bordeaux-like nose of black fruits, licorice, minerals, and cedar. Tannic and reserved, with intense richness and concentration, this is a medium to full-bodied, large-scaled, unevolved 1994 Cabernet that should prove to be outstanding for those with enough discipline to wait it out.
