The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is deepest purple, with beautifully soft, silky tannins, notes of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, mulberry, blueberry and blackcurrant fruit. It is medium to full-bodied and pure with a luscious texture. This beauty from Howell Mountain comes from a vineyard of about 2,000-foot elevation. This should age nicely, yet drink well young for 12-15 years.

Firm and well-focused on a concentrated core of dark berry, loamy, gravelly earth, black licorice and dill-scented oak.
