The Muller 2005 Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett A.P. #2 displays lovely clover, apple, and nut oil aromatics. In the mouth, this is juicy and refreshing, with ripe peach and baked apple underlain by nut oils and laced with bitter-sweet quinine and floral notes. The overall impression is of clarity and delicacy, with a finish that is impressively persistent while remaining restrained in intensity, with an understated complexity of fruits, nuts, flowers, and slate.
