The 2003 Gran Claustro is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Garnacha, and 15% Carinena aged for 15 months in new French oak. Deep crimson-colored, it has an excellent perfume of pain grille, graphite, and assorted black fruits. On the palate it shows off refined tannins, some elegance, and enough structure to evolve for 3-5 years. It will offer prime drinking from 2013 to 2023.
