The 2007 Pinot Noir Dussin Vineyard is sourced from the winery’s estate. Medium/dark ruby in color, it has an alluring perfume of balsam wood, incense, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. Rounder and softer than the Shea bottling, it can be enjoyed now but has enough structure to evolve for another 1-2 years.
Penner-Ash performed optimally in the face of the challenges presented by the 2007 vintage. Their 2007 Riesling is reviewed in the Value section of this report and should not be missed.
