The 1995 Rioja Reserva Seleccion Especial reveals leathery, earthy, leafy notes along with graphite, cherry jam, and minerals. The bouquet is reminiscent of a lighter-styled Lafite-Rothschild. The wine spent 30 months in a combination of both French and American oak before being bottled without filtration.
