The 1986 is not quite as good as the 1975, 1979, or 1982, but it shares with them the personality of L'Enclos. The style is one that produces a very precocious, soft, fruity wine redolent of plums and black currants, with a silky, smooth texture. Drink it over the next 4-5 years for its charm, not its great depth or complexity. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 11/90.
