From four parcels between Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, the 2014 Nuits St Georges Village has a lifted, rather "airy" bouquet with cassis and blueberry fruit, nicely integrated with the oak. The palate is fresh and taut on the entry with a keen line of acidity, nicely balanced with a sorbet-like freshness towards the short citric finish. This is a very decent village cru from Michel Gros.
