The classical 2011 Reserva has a very balsamic nose with plenty of cigar ash, incense aromas and an animal touch. From reserva upward, all the grapes come from their 60-hectare vineyard in Haro, something the Vivanco family provided when they purchased the winery, as the winery had never had any vineyards. The blend is classical, mostly Tempranillo with some 10% Graciano, matured in French and American oak barrels for two years. It has a sleek and polished palate with fine-grained tannins. 94,000 bottles produced.
