The 2005 Pinot Noir “Provocateur” is medium ruby-colored. It has an excellent perfume of spice box, red cherries, and raspberry. This leads to a medium-bodied wine with vibrant acidity, a broad band of sweet fruit, and firm tannin in the finish. It can be enjoyed now but will fill out with another 3-4 years in bottle.
