The 2006 Pinot Noir is medium to dark ruby-colored with a toasty perfume of raspberry and cherry. This leads to a velvety-textured Pinot with ample sweet, spicy fruit, excellent depth, incipient complexity, and a long, pure finish. It should provide pleasure over the next six years. Leyda appears to be Chile’s premier cool-climate grape growing region if these Garces Silva wines under the Amayna label are any indication.Importer: T. Edwards Wines, New York, NY; tel.
