The 2006 Soave Classico (90% Garganega, 10% Trebbiano) offers superb quality, as well as value, at this level. Made in a fat, enveloping style, it offers generous ripe fruit while maintaining terrific vibrancy and focus. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2009. Pieropan is one of the historic producers in the Soave region. From its pristine cellar the estate releases benchmark wines for the appellation.
