The 2021 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is mineral-driven and tangy this vintage, offering scents of matchstick, saline, biscuit and lemon. The medium-bodied palate is surprisingly concentrated and satiny, with a foil of shimmery acidity and a very long, flinty finish. Powerful yet graceful like a dancer en pointe, it will be long-lived in bottle. Only 290 cases were made.
