The 2008 Recioto della Valpolicella L’Eremita reveals excellent depth and harmony in its black cherries, espresso, mocha, spices and flowers. This is a relatively delicate style of Recioto that impresses for its balance more than its size or power. My impression is that it is best enjoyed sooner rather than later.
