Voges' 1996 Cornas Les Vieilles Fontin possesses one of the most saturated black/purple colors of the 1996 northern Rhones. This monster Cornas reveals evidence of new oak (Voge claims to use only 10-15% new oak casks). Full-bodied, deep, super-extracted and concentrated, it represents the essence of Cornas.
