The 2000 Reserva is a better balanced wine. Essentially the same blend as the previous wine, it spent 30 months in new French and Ameican oak before being bottled unfiltered. Medium ruby-colored, it has a more expressive nose of cedar, tobacco, vanilla, damp earth, black currants and blackberry. The wine’s personality is notable for its vibrant fruit and racy style with some oak spice poking through.
