Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 Lily's Garden is profusely scented of warm blueberries, black plums and blackcurrant cordial with an undercurrent of licorice, mocha and pepper. Very big, full-bodied and packed with ripe black fruit and spice flavors, it has a medium to firm backbone of velvety tannins and just enough acidity. It finishes long and with a nice savory edge.
