With a medium ruby color, the 2007 Farrside Pinot Noir gives expressive aromas of red cherry, warm raspberry, game, spearmint and damp earth. The medium to full-bodied palate is crisp and concentrated with a medium level of fine grained tannins and a long finish. Delicious now, this should drink through 2015.
Since parting ways with Bannockburn, former winemaker Gary Farr has set about producing his own inimitable style of Geelong Pinots.
By Farr does not currently have a USA importer but exports these wines to Canada (Alberta and BC), Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
