The Domaine Lecheneaut's grand cru, Clos de la Roche, is an exotic wine, with a huge nose of cinnamon, smoke, tobacco, and black fruits. In the mouth, it offers admirable density and richness, a chewy, fleshy texture endowed with significant glycerin and extract, as well as a sweet, long, velvety finish. The wine is so rich, sweet, and tasty that I could not resist drink it. Considerable tannin lurks under the lavish quantities of fruit. Drink this profound wine over the next 10-12 years.
