Matured in 30% new oak, the 2006 Pinot Noir has a lovely, well-defined nose with raspberry leaf, strawberry, a touch of undergrowth, orange zest and a faint hint of oyster shell. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, good acidity and balance, fine poise and comes across as a very natural Pinot Noir that has an understated persona. Drink now-2014.
