Only the 2003 Marbore could be recommended among the red wines. It is a blend of 50% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Parraleta, and 5% Moristel fermented and aged for 18 months in a mixture of new French and American oak. Purple-colored, it emits heady aromas of scorched earth, mineral, spice, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. Medium to full-bodied, the wine has a rustic, slightly untamed character to its intense fruit and moderate tannins. Everything is in harmony and the wine should evolve nicely for another 2-4 years and drink well for a decade.
