Earthy black fruits are found in the nose of the medium to full-bodied 2003 Chambolle-Musigny Les Beaux Bruns. I adored the expansive nature of this rich wine as well as the way its silky-textured personality unleashed waves of flavors reminiscent of candied raspberries awash in cream and spices. If the note of roasted bitterness, detected in the finish, dissipates in time, it will unquestionably merit an outstanding score. Projected maturity: 2007-2014.
