This is another excellent Meursault producer who makes some of the best villages Meursaults from vineyards such as Les Tessons and Meix-Chavaux. They are not the longest-lived wines, and I have had some disappointments over the years when I have held a Roulot Meursault for longer than 5-6 years, but for drinking early on, they are delicious. The 1989 Meursault-Meix-Chavaux was a big, oaky, honeyed wine, with plenty of nutty, rich fruit, a good deal of glycerin, and gobs of tropical fruit flavors. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
