The 2004 Grenache “The Duke” was sourced from a single 85-year-old vineyard and aged for 25 months in used French and American oak. It delivers complex aromas of cedar, tobacco, sage, lavender, and black cherry. Full-bodied yet elegant, with a velvety texture and gobs of fruit, it will provide pleasure for a decade.Kilikanoon’s winemaker is the talented Kevin Mitchell. The house specialty is Shiraz but Mitchell does equally well with Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache.Importer: Peter Weygandt, Weygandt-Metzler Importing, Unionville, PA: www.kilikanoon.com.au
