The 1995 Chateau de Cazeneuve Les Terres Rouges (a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvedre) is a soft, earthy, herbes de Provence, cherry and curranty-scented wine, with round, succulent, fleshy, medium-bodied flavors, fine depth, and a soft finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. It is a very Provencal tasting wine that should work well with grilled dishes. Voici another example of just what heights wine quality can attain in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Given the high pricing that exists in France's more prestigious appellations, it is a silver lining for highly committed proprietors making wines such as these.Importer: a Jeffrey Davies Signature Selection, West Nyack, NY; tel.
