The 2009 Gewurztraminer Kolbenhof shows wonderful depth and polish in its juicy, tropical fruit and well-articulated bouquet. The wine blossoms on the palate, with endless layers of fruit that lead to the energetic, clean finish. The Kolbenhof is often a standout, as it is again in 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2019.
