I would not be surprised to see this wine prove to be outstanding with another 4-5 years of cellaring. The color is a dense, dark ruby and the backward nose is extremely promising with its scents of smoked meats, nuts, black fruits, and leather. In the mouth, this austere, full-bodied, impressively concentrated wine appears to have the requisite depth needed to balance out the high level of tannins. Do not touch this wine for at least 3-4 years; it should last for 15-20 years.
