Produced from vines planted in 1922 (the same parcel as that of Domaine Leroy), the medium to dark ruby-colored 1998 Romanee-St.-Vivant has floral, red fruit aromas. Blackberries and cherries can be found in this highly expressive, well-balanced, and elegant offering. While it possesses a firm, tannic backbone, it is covered in loads of lush fruit.
