Jadot always makes a fine Clos Vougeot and in 1985 it is top flight, bursting at the seams with juicy, succulent fruit, but full bodied and deceptively tannic in the finish.
Jadot's 1985s are loaded with aromas and flavors of red fruits, are judiciously complemented by one-third new oak barrels, and have super color, thanks in part to a very high fermentation temperature of 35°-36° C.
