The 1993 Cos Labory exhibits a dark ruby color, and a spicy, low-key, pleasant but undistinguished nose of red fruits, earth, and wood. The wine is hard, but there is good depth, and perhaps the fruit will ultimately balance out the wine's structure. It needs 1-2 years of cellaring, and should age for 12-15 years.
